Information for health professionals

Connections Western Sydney Helpline is a low-intensity psychological service for people who are at risk or have experienced symptoms of distress or mild symptoms of mental ill health (i.e. anxiety or depression) for less than 12 months. Your patients or clients can access the service at any time, and they won’t need a referral.

Initial support is provided 24/7 by telephone and clients can have an additional three 30-minute counselling sessions, available from 9am to 9pm. Our counsellors will follow up with clients six weeks later to assess if their needs have been met. If a client’s needs increase, we will refer them to a local psychologist.
